surgery approval

Ok so I have to share this with my dunesafe family...


I got my approval today for my surgery.. I am so excited I screamed when the lady on the phone told me.

I also just talked to my friend who has been helping me with the process getting papers pushed though very quickly and she told me the auth will go to the case nurse at my dr office so hopefully i have a surgery date in a day or two.

Then I called my mom and asked her to call the nurse case manager and watch for my paperwork she told my mom my friend also called and told her to watch for it. Then told my mom I will be treated like VIP! To the top of the paperwork I GO..

Bottom line its good to know people in the health care business to help push things along very smoothly..


I am not excited or anything......NOT I have butterflies..

Thanks you to all my friends and my husband for all the support. It has been a long trip but I did it.

Congratulations Jenni.......I know you have been working very hard at getting all your ducks in a row to get this surgery!

I will be there to visit you in the hospital for sure and if you need any help at all at home......I am more than happy to come help you!

I'll be praying for you and your family AND the surgeon and the anesthisiologist and the nurses!!

You will be fine! When I had surgery I was praying for an hour in the pre-op until they gave me feel good meds and rolled me into OR......I remember wondering why my doc hadn't come to see me......he promised he would see me before surgery!! Apparently before I went completely under he came in and I flirted with him......a sweedish OB-GYN who was sexy as they come and I had a mad crush on! I don't remember the flirting part but my doc told me about it when I was leaving recovery! I was mortified!

He was HOT!! :D

Count backwards from 100.

You get to 99 if your lucky........

omg i hope it dont do that.. my doc is not hot at all.. he is a freakin smart.. and talented and thats all i want..

Jenni is out of surgery and everything went well. I will be going back to see her very soon I think they will have her up and walking today. She wanted to let everyone know she is doing good and is looking forward to talking to you soon.

I just got home and Jenni is still at the hospital. Last night her O2 level was low and the Dr came and in early in the morning so he kept her one more day. Lisa and Shelvis spent most of the day with Jenni and I it was great seeing you two. Jenni is much better I think if the Dr had seen her at 6pm she would be home. I don't think she slept more than 10 min. all day and she was up walking all day, so I am sure she will be home tomorrow.
